Have you ever wondered what your coach secretly wants you to know? Wonder no more! Allow me to give you the inside scoop on 5 things I want my clients to know.
1. I don’t just want to cheer you on I want to champion your efforts
Anyone can be your cheerleader. I want to be your champion. I will encourage your efforts, keep you grounded and help you in any way that I can.
Our coaching relationship is so much deeper than an exchange for dollars and advice. My job as your coach is to help you craft goals that move you from stuck to unstuck, confused to clear, and self-conscious to confident. Allow me to be one who partners with you in a deep and personal way.
2. I won’t ever ask you to do something I haven’t done or wouldn’t do myself
The coaching process can be intimidating at times but know this, I will never ask you to do something that I wouldn’t do myself. I will never stretch you beyond your capacity or push you beyond your limits.
I will help you set realistic, attainable goals. The action steps we come up with might be challenging and a little scary but I will be there for you every step of the way. Remember, great things rarely come from comfort zones.
3. You get out what you put in
I hope you’re ready to put in some work! Any lasting change or goal achieved is the product of hard work. I won’t just hand you a how-to guide or give you step-by-step instructions. I’ll ask you to show up and put in the work.
Together, we will make a plan that draws on your strengths and celebrates your God-given gifts. I’ll encourage you and keep you accountable but the rest is up to you!
4. I love being your accountability
Speaking of accountability, you are not annoying or over the top for needing help. When things get tough I want to be there for you.
You are not an island. It’s okay to ask for help and part of championing your efforts is being there for you when you need accountability. When you need a reminder to follow through on an action step or tough love to keep you on track I’ll be there.
5. I have no doubt that you are capable of greatness
You fear that you don’t have what it takes. I see endless potential in you.
Tell me when you’re tired, unsure, or scared but don’t you dare sell yourself short. You are capable of far more than you give yourself credit for. Now get out there and prove it!
